Our frostings primarily come in two varieties:
These can be altered by flavor (chocolate, vanilla, almond, lemon, etc.).
If you have something particular in mind, just ask!
We also offer traditional frosting (shortening-based) and cream-cheese frostings upon request.
** please note, true "buttercream" is a dairy-based product. We can do a reasonable facsimile in vegan/ dairy-free, or use traditional frosting in lieu of butter-based icing :0)
Fondant is a mildly-flavored, pliable sugar-based cake coating. It gives a beautiful, polished finish to cakes and we recommend trying it! It's also *naturally* gluten & dairy free/ vegan, making it a great choice for special-request orders.
From fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, etc), cracked nuts (pecans, hazelnut, walnut), chocolate ganache, flavored or plain buttercream, fruit curds (lemon, lime, pineapple, etc) or glazes (sugar or sour-cream based), cremes and custards.... your filling options have no limit but the imagination at Macoda Cakeworks!
